Live Inquisitor and Sanguinesti buffs beat speculative CoX scroll rally. The desk's biggest read here is that the confirmed, live buffs to crush gear and blood magic setups will move GP immediately, while the much-hyped Chambers of Xeric unique reweighting is still just a proposal Jagex is nervously testing the waters on. Inquisitor's mace, hauberk, great helm and plateskirt all gain flat accuracy, strength and crush damage percentages while losing their negative stab/slash penalties, effectively turning a niche crush set into a guaranteed max hit machine for PvM. Sanguinesti staff gets cheaper to run and hits harder with more frequent, bigger heals, and Soulreaper axe strips its HP drain downside while adding real accuracy and minimum hit scaling on the special. None of that requires community sentiment or a future patch, it's live today, so the buy pressure on those items starts the moment players log in and see the numbers.

Day one sees immediate re-gearing demand: PvMers who shelved Inquisitor pieces for Torva or Bandos will start pricing crush setups back in for Vorkath, ToA and Nex-style content, and that demand should hold rather than fade since it's a permanent stat change. Sanguinesti staff demand compounds over the following days as blood rune costs drop and word spreads that Wardens in ToA no longer resist its leech, making it a staple healer weapon again. The CoX proposal is a different animal, it's explicitly labeled as not-yet-shipped, so any price movement in Twisted bow, Dragon claws, Kodai insignia, Elder maul, Dinh's bulwark, Twisted buckler, Dragon hunter crossbow or the Ancestral and prayer scroll items right now is pure speculation on whether Jagex follows through with those exact weights. That speculative trade can pop fast on the announcement and just as fast unwind if community backlash forces a softer revision, since Jagex flagged they're already nervous about the scale of the numbers.

Buyers here are mid-to-high tier PvM accounts re-equipping for crush content and blood spell efficiency, plus speculative flippers who read the CoX blog and want to front-run a supply shock. Sellers on the other side are raiders who prefer to cash out uniques now near current highs rather than risk holding through a rebalance that could flood the market with Twisted bows and Kodai insignias. Blood rune sellers will see softer demand as the Sanguinesti charge cost drop reduces consumption per cast, and the mass refund on login adds a small one-time supply bump to boot. Ancestral piece holders are the most exposed sellers if the CM weighting hits, since a 53-64% supply increase would be the largest single unique buff in the whole proposal.

Several changes look exciting in the patch notes but don't clear the bar for a real GE call. Burning claws' special attack energy cost bump from 30% to 35% is a real nerf but claws are already a niche PvP/PvM special weapon with thin volume, so the price drag will be marginal at best. Ancient sceptre and Master wand magic damage boosts are genuine buffs but these are low-volume, already-cheap items where a percentage bump won't move meaningful GP. Rosewood blowpipe's rune dart cap increase mostly affects the small Zalcano skilling crowd, not the broader PvM economy, so any bump in rune dart consumption will be gradual and easy to miss in the order book. Gauntlet prep streamlining will increase Crystal shard and seed supply over time, but the Gauntlet playerbase is small enough that this shows up as slow price drift rather than a sharp move.

Watch for Jagex's follow-up decision on the Chambers of Xeric weighting proposal, since that is what actually locks in the supply shift for scrolls and uniques rather than just pricing in rumor. If they ship the numbers as published, expect a second, sharper leg down in Twisted bow, Kodai insignia, Dragon claws and the raid uniques, and a real supply-driven crash in Ancestral pieces beyond today's speculative move.
