Using the GE Uncut AI Assistant
The assistant is the fastest way to use everything else in GE Uncut. Ask it a plain-language question and it does the searching, sizing and after-tax math for you, then shows the result right there in the chat.
Most of GE Uncut is built to be pointed and clicked: the Finder, the Margins board, the item pages. The AI assistant is the shortcut through all of it. Instead of setting filters and reading tables, you type what you want in ordinary English, and the assistant reaches into the same live data the rest of the app uses, does the work, and hands you the answer in the conversation. It is the single fastest way to get a decision out of the tool, and most users do not realise how much it can actually do.
What the assistant can do
The assistant is not a generic chatbot bolted on the side. It is wired directly into GE Uncut's live tools, so a question turns into a real action against real data. In practice it can do most of what you would otherwise click around for:
- Find flips sized to the gold you tell it you have, in whatever style you ask for, and filter to members or free-to-play.
- Look up any item: its live buy and sell price, its margin after tax, its daily volume, and its recent verified record.
- Show a price chart for an item right in the chat, over daily or intraday timeframes.
- Pull the track record: the public, forward-tested win rate and average return of the flips the tool has posted.
- Surface news signals: items a recent game update is expected to move, and why.
- Track your flips: log a flip you have bought, record a sale with the after-tax profit worked out, and list what you currently have open.
- Answer OSRS questions using the Old School RuneScape wiki, for anything about how an item or mechanic works.
Everything it reports comes from the same minute-by-minute price feed and the same deep price history that power the Finder, so its answers are not guesses; they are the tool talking to you in sentences instead of tables.
Finding flips in chat
The most common thing to ask for is a flip. You do not need to phrase it carefully. Tell the assistant how much gold you want to put in, roughly what style you are after, and whether you are a member, and it sizes the scan to you and returns a ranked shortlist with the buy price, the sell target, and the after-tax margin already worked out.
Try: "Find me some patient flips for 50M."
Or: "I'm free-to-play with about 3M, what can I flip?"
Or: "Give me fast, high-volume flips I can grind this session."
If you leave out a detail it needs, the assistant will usually ask a short follow-up with tappable buttons, so you can answer with one click rather than typing. That is deliberate: it is quicker to tap "Member" or "~20M" than to spell it out, especially on a phone. The capital you give it in chat sizes that one answer only; it does not overwrite the defaults saved in your scan settings.
Looking up any item
The assistant is also the fastest way to check a single item without leaving what you are doing. Ask about any tradeable item and it returns the live prices and margin; ask for more and it gives you the deeper stats, including the typical price, the daily volume, the expected hold horizon, and how that item's posted signals have actually performed.
Try: "What's the margin on dragon bones right now?"
Or: "Show me the price chart for magic logs."
Or: "Is a twisted bow worth flipping at the moment?"
When you ask to see a chart, the app draws it for you inside the chat rather than just describing it, so you get the same picture you would on the item page. This makes the assistant a genuinely useful research tool: you can work through several items in the time it would take to open one page and read it.
Tracking and managing your flips
The assistant does not just recommend, it can keep your books. When you buy something, tell it, and it starts tracking the position; if you do not give it a sell target or a hold horizon, it resolves sensible ones from the item's own stats. When you sell, tell it the price and it records the sale with the after-tax realized profit calculated for you. At any point you can ask what you currently have open, and it lists your tracked positions along with your live Grand Exchange offers.
Try: "I just bought 500 dragon bones at 2,800, track it."
Or: "I sold my magic logs at 1,010, record it."
Or: "What flips do I have open right now?"
Because this all flows through the same records as the rest of the app, a flip you log in chat shows up in your My Flips and counts toward your history exactly as if you had tracked it by clicking. The chat is just a faster door into the same system.
Asking market and game questions
Beyond the numbers, the assistant can explain. It can pull the public track record when you want to know how the tool's calls have actually landed, surface the items a recent update is expected to move, and answer straight Old School RuneScape questions using the wiki, from what an item is used for to how a mechanic works. That last part matters for flipping, because understanding why an item is in demand is often the difference between a good flip and a stale one.
Try: "How has the track record looked this month?"
Or: "Any items moving on the latest update?"
Or: "What is Zulrah's scales used for?"
How to ask it well
You do not need special phrasing, but a few habits get you better answers faster. Give it the numbers it needs up front, your capital and whether you are a member, so it does not have to ask. Say what style you want if you have a preference, because "fast flips" and "patient flips" lead to genuinely different shortlists. And treat it as a conversation: if the first answer is not quite what you meant, refine it in the next message rather than starting over. "Cheaper than that" or "only members items" or "something that fills faster" all work, because it remembers the thread.
The one habit worth forming: lead with your capital and membership. "Fast flips for 20M, member" gets you a sized, ranked answer in one shot, where "what should I flip?" makes the assistant stop and ask before it can help.
What it will not do
It is worth being clear about the edges. The assistant reports live prices, but prices move minute to minute, so a margin it quotes is a snapshot, not a lock; by the time you place an offer the market may have shifted a little. Its flip suggestions are guidance drawn from the same signals as the Finder, not guarantees, which is exactly why the tool keeps a public, forward-tested record instead of asking you to take its word. And it will not reveal the internal scoring that decides which flips rank where, any more than the rest of the app does; it gives you the decision and the reasoning around it, not the recipe.
Within those limits, though, it is the quickest way to use GE Uncut, especially on a phone or mid-session when you do not want to break away to read a table. If you have never tried it, open the chat and ask it to find flips for your bank; it is the shortest path from "I have some gold" to "here is what to do with it." From there, the Flip Finder and the Margins board are always there when you want to explore the whole market yourself.
