Track overview
Flipping by item type
A nature rune and a twisted bow are both flips, and almost nothing you learn from one applies to the other. This track walks through eight categories of the Old School RuneScape economy and shows what changes as you move between them: who is buying, how fast offers fill, what the buy limit lets you do, and how hard the 2% tax bites at that price level.
What you’ll learn
- Read a category by its demand engine: consumed in combat, burned for experience, or bought once and kept forever
- Judge fill speed from daily volume, and know when a wide spread is opportunity and when it is a warning
- Work the buy limit properly, from 50,000 elemental runes down to eight pieces of high-tier gear
- Apply the tax rules where they actually matter: the under 50 gp exemption on cheap ammunition, and the 5,000,000 gp cap above 250M
- Match a category to your bank, so a small account works the cheap end on purpose rather than by default
- Build the right Margins board view and Finder settings for each kind of item
